This absolute riverfront home at the enviable 387 Brisbane Corso address was architecturally designed to withstand the elements with sophisticated interior finishes creating a home that is as much timeless as it is practical. The architectural brief was for a robust, mid-sized family home using natural materials and requiring minimal maintenance. The owners chose to build in sand blasted concrete along the simple lines of QPAC, Southbank. Several exposed internal walls are also sand blasted. Downstairs flooring is mainly Italian limestone with red ironbark timber upstairs, connected by a recycled ironbark stairway sourced from the 19th century Gibson building in West End.
